Randy Rowe is Chairman of Green Courte Partners, LLC a Chicago-based private equity real estate investment firm focused on niche real estate strategies, including the acquisition and development of manufactured housing community, parking and infill retail (mixed-use) assets. Previously, Mr. Rowe was a Co-Founder and Chairman of Transwestern Investment Company, LLC and Chairman and Director of Transwestern Commercial Services, LLC. Mr. Rowe was also Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hometown America, LLC, a large owner of manufactured housing communities.

Prior to co-founding Transwestern Investment Company, Mr. Rowe was a senior executive with Equity Group Investments (Sam Zell’s company), where he held a number of positions including Chairman, Chief Executive Officer of Equity Office Properties and President and Chief Executive Officer of Equity Assets Management with oversight responsibilities for the Zell/Merrill Lynch series of funds. During his tenure as one of the two Equity Group voting members on the Zell/Merrill Lynch Investment Committee, the funds acquired over US$3 billion of office, retail, parking and multifamily properties. Mr. Rowe also was Co-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Manufactured Home Communities, Inc. (currently known as Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. (NYSE: ELS)), a manufactured housing community REIT that owned 26,000 home sites during Mr. Rowe’s management of the company from 1989 to 1995.

Mr. Rowe is a Trustee of the Urban Land Institute, a member of the Advisory Board of Harvard University’s REAI, a member of the Board of the Primo Center for Women and Children, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Steppenwolf Theatre, a member of the Board of Directors of the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club Foundation and a member and former Chairman of the Real Estate Roundtable.

Mr. Rowe holds a BA from Denison University, an MBA from Harvard University and a JD from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the State Bar of Illinois.
